Firefall Rising, or Peach's Castle-4, is the fourth course of Peach's Castle in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked from accessing the secret exit in Magma Moat and its completion unlocks Current Event.
Layout
The level begins at the bottom of a vertical section, where blocks that constantly appear and disappear are found above a pit of lava. Some platforms are used to climb vertically, leading to a group of lifts moving to the left. Meteors begin falling throughout the area. A group of lifts moving to the right are found, and entering the section of the wall they come out of leads to a hidden area, where more lifts and a 1-Up Mushroom in a Hidden Block are found. More disappearing blocks appear, and a Brick Block containing a Super Star is hidden in a portion of the ceiling. Sections of disappearing blocks above lava pits follow, leading up to a Warp Pipe. The Warp Pipe leads to the area with the Goal Pole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: After the moving platforms, the player can find the Star Coin to the right.
- Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is located after the first. The player must hop on the blocks when they appear on the left.
- Star Coin 3: Before the Warp Pipe, the player must time a jump to land on the platform the Star Coin is on, and jump out quickly to not fall in the lava.
Luigi Sighting
- One of the hidden alcoves within the secret part of the level features an 8-bit jumping Luigi.
