The series of the "Spaghetti Plumber" (as King Koopa calls Mario) tells the adventures of Mario and Luigi, two Italian plumbers living in New York. When they get sucked into a drain during a job, they end up in Princess Toadstool's kingdom, which is threatened by King Koopa. From then on, the two fight against Koopa and for the kingdom's freedom. Each episode is 20 minutes long. Ten of those minutes are always a funny live-action silm featuring Lou Albano and Danny Wells as Mario and Luigi at their Brooklyn plumbing workshop. There, they are seen with all sorts of crazy customers. |

Errors[edit]
- The back cover of the DVD set misspells König Koopa ("King Koopa") as "König Kooper."
- The episode list on the back cover of the DVD set contains several errors:
- The German title for "Rolling Down the River," "Es geht den Fluss hinunter," is misspelled as "Es geth den Fluß hinunter."
- The German title for this episode uses the spelling used prior to the German orthography reform of 1996, with Fluss ("river") being spelled as "Fluß," with an Eszett at the end of word. However, all other episode titles featured on the cover, as well as the covers of the individual DVD's, use the reform spelling, such as the German title of "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em," "Lieb sie und lass sie," spelling lass ("leave") as "lass" instead of "laß," lacking the Eszett.
- The episode list lists the first twelve episodes of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! in broadcast order. As a result, "Jungle Fever" and "Brooklyn Bound" are included in the list, despite these episodes not appearing in the DVD set. Inversely, "Two Plumbers and a Baby" and "Pirates of Koopa" are not listed on the DVD cover, despite them appearing in the DVD set.
- The German title for "Rolling Down the River," "Es geht den Fluss hinunter," is misspelled as "Es geth den Fluß hinunter."
