The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!: Once Upon a Koopa (otherwise known as simply Once Upon a Koopa) is the second thematic DVD of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! As the title implies, the DVD mainly focuses on episodes based on fairy tales and novels. The DVD was released by NCircle Entertainment on December 18, 2007.[1]

    When the Mario Bros. buy some magic garbanzo beans they are led up the beanstalk to face a Giant Koopa.
  • The Adventures of Sherlock Mario:
    When Professor Koopa-arity kidnaps the brilliant criminologist Herlock Sholmes[sic], the Mario Bros. turn detective.
  • Hooded Robin and His Mario Men:
    The Mario Bros. arrive in Sharewood Forest and help the Hooded Robin recover the gold coins that the rich Sheriff og Koopingham has stolen from the poor.
  • Little Red Riding Princess:
    Our heroes have come to Winterland so the Princess can visit her grandmother, but Koopa sees her crossing the forest and plays big bad wolf.
  • Koopenstein:
    Dr. Koopenstein starts the trouble by trying to steal the Mario Bros.' brains for his new invention, and then he really turns into a monster.

Episodes[edit]

The episodes in Once Upon a Koopa were taken from the same database of the full boxset of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, without live-action segments, which were cut from them. However, because the live-action segment "Baby Mario Love" was already removed from it, this is the only episode that plays the credits song in its end. The DVD contains the following episodes:
