The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Special Edition is an Australian and British VHS release of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! It contains four animated segments and was released by Pickwick Video in Australia and Abbey Home Entertainment in the United Kingdom in 1989.[1][2] The cover art features Mario and Toad against a network of pipes, with the former holding a plunger in his hand.

Mario and Luigi are two wacky Italian plumbers who accidentally get washed through a warp zone into a magical land populated entirely by Mushroom people. Here they join forces with the lovely Princess Toadstool and her assistant Toad to fight the dastardly King Koopa and his Koopa Troopas.
- THE FIRE OF HERCUFLEAS: The Marios seek the help of the legendary hero Hercufleas, but find it's the hero himself who needs help to recover the 'Great Balls of Fire' stolen by King Koopa.
- KING MARIO OF CRAMALOT: With the help of the Wizard Mervin, Mario pulls the Golden Plumber's Helper from the magic sink and saves the Land of Cramalot from evil King Koopa.
- ROLLIN' DOWN THE RIVER: Mario and Luigi disguise themselves as Riverboat Gamblers to rescue the Princess who is held captive on Captain Koopa's sidewheeler, 'The Sinister Star'.
- MARIO AND THE BEANSTALK: When the Mario's[sic] buy some magic garbanzo beans they are lead[sic] up the beanstalk to face a Giant Koopa.
