The princess has been kidnapped and her kidnappers flee in a riverboat. The brothers Mario and Luigi come to help; they get help from Mark Twang so they can save the princess from the terrible Koopa.

Errors[edit]
- The back cover of the VHS says that the Princess's mushroom harvest has been destroyed prior to the events of "Mario and the Beanstalk." However, this is never stated in the actual episode, and no farmland can be seen surrounding the cottage in which she and her friends live in the episode.
