The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!: Mario & the Beanstalk is a British VHS release of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! It contains two animated segments and was released by Abbey Home Entertainment in 1989.[1] The cover art features Mario and Luigi standing in Cow World.

Blurb[edit]

Mario and Luigi are two wacky Italian Plumbers who accidentally get washed through a warp zone into a magical land populated entirely by Mushroom people. Here they joined forces with the lovely Princess Toadstool and her assistant Toad to fight the dastardly King Koopa and his Koopa Troopas.

  • MARIO AND THE BEANSTALK: When the Mario's[sic] buy some magic garbanzo beans they are led up the beanstalk to face a giant Koopa.
  • THE BIRD! THE BIRD!: While crossing the Land of Ice, Toad - Princess Toadstool's assiatant - gets kidnapped by a Giant Birdo who thinks the Mushroom is her missing baby.
