Mario and Luigi disguise themselves as Riverboat Gamblers to save the Princess, who is held captive on Captain Koopa's boat, "The Sinister Star."
Our heroes think they are going to a Benefit Dinner at the Linguini Empire Colosseum, but it's all a plot by the evil Emperor Augustus Septemberus Octoberus Koopa to feed the Mario Bros. to the lions.
When the Mario Bros. buy some magic beans they are led to face a Giant Koopa.
The dreaded Queen Rotunda of Rotundaland falls in love with Mario when she mistakenly forces him to marriage, trying to make him drink a love potion. |
Errors[edit]
- The front cover of the DVD features Raccoon Mario, despite him not appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
- King Koopa's name is directly translated instead of going by his Italian name: Re Attila. The same happens for the Linguini Empire.
- "Riverland" and "Rotundaland" are untranslated.
- The back cover of the DVD says that Queen Rotunda falls in love with Mario when she forces him to marry her by mistake, trying to make him drink a love potion. However, this is a mistanslation; Rotunda actually falls in love with Mario when she drinks a love potion by mistake, trying to force him to marry her.
