The princess, who needs 100 gold coins by tomorrow morning, falls into despair and thinks of ways to raise money. She even pawns her own jewels, and after her almost-dilapidated cabin is also pawned, she goes to the market to sell the cow granted by the king. Unable to find someone to buy the cow for 100 gold coins at the market, she instead trades it for some magical beans. Those beans grow tremendously and are used as a fund for orphans.
Mario and his group meet Queen Rotunda, who is searching for all kinds of love potions. They pick some peppers on the side of the road and are chased as thieves for theft, eventually using all up their strength and getting caught. However, they manage to escape by using Queen Rotunda, who falls in love with Mario after tasting the pepper ice cream he made to free his friends from prison. |
ErrorsEdit
- The back cover of the VHS implies that Princess Toadstool takes the Royal Cow to Cow World to trade it in for some magic garbanzo beans in "Mario and the Beanstalk," when it is actually and Mario and Luigi who trade the cow in the actual episode.
