"Playing Ever Oasis During a Power Outage!" is the twenty-fourth episode of The Play Nintendo Show on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. This episode covers Ever Oasis.
Plot synopsis[edit]
Andrew Trego flies out of Izzy's warp pipe and the duo introduce themselves. Andrew says he is excited for the game this episode will cover until a power outage occurs inside the Casa de Nintendo. Izzy is upset about this, but Andrew assures him he knows where a flashlight is and begins searching. After hurting himself multiple times and finding a quarter of a bagel, he finds the flashlight. Andrew asks Izzy if he is ready to talk about Ever Oasis. After a lightning strike is heard, Izzy says no and goes down his pipe. Andrew calls Izzy a "scaredy sprout" and asks where his sense of adventure is. After Andrew describing what the game is about, Izzy changes his mind, but says they need more flashlights. Izzy then introduces the Top 3 segment, being the top 3 things they love about Ever Oasis.
Andrew places more flashlights in the room, which Izzy thinks is not worse. The number 3 pick is fighting the dark chaos energy. After describing what that is, Andrew wonders what their show would be like if it was taken over by dark chaos energy. A clip plays on an old television depicting this, with Frizzy saying what Andrew says at the beginning of most episodes. Another sock puppet named Rizzy takes the place of Izzy inside the warp pipe. Izzy says if the show was taken over, it would not be that different.
The number 2 pick is the characters the player meets. Andrew asks Izzy if he were to go into a dungeon, if he would go in there with him. Izzy immediately responds with Jenna, followed by Worthington, Frizzy, and Beary.
The number 1 pick is the fact the player is in charge of their oasis. After the explanation, the power returns. Andrew tells the viewer what things they are excited for about the game. The Ask Izzy segment, "Can Izzy travel through time?!", then plays. After Andrew and Izzy ask the viewer to like, subscribe, and visit the Play Nintendo website all summer long, Andrew offers Izzy a "spooky power out dance", which Izzy asks if they have to do. The video ends with a dance party involving flashlights and a cardboard cutout of Andrew.
