"Sibling Showdown with 1-2-Switch" is the seventeenth episode of The Play Nintendo Show on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. This episode covers 1-2-Switch.

Plot synopsis[edit]

Andrew Trego and Jenna fly out of Izzy's warp pipe and everyone introduces themselves. Andrew reveals the Nintendo Switch tells the viewer what it does. Jenna is excited to play, so Andrew decides to start with the "ultimate party game", 1-2-Switch. Jenna says this is the perfect game to play with friends, or in her case, siblings. Jenna pokes Andrew's nose as Izzy mimmicks their actions with noises.

The "Play Time" segment then begins, with Izzy pretending to follow a recipe for fun, mentioning a touch of 1-2-Switch and a pinch of sibling rivalry. Andrew and Jenna then play the minigame "Quick Draw" in cowboy and cowgirl costumes respectively. Jenna wins the game, and Andrew asks her what the next game will be. Jenna winks, which Andrew does not like the look of. The next minigame is "Samurai Training", where Andrew and Jenna where samurai suits. When it is Andrew's turn, Andrew pretends to see Reggie Fils-Aimé, causing Jenna to get distracted and lose. The final minigame is "Copy Dance", where Andrew and Jenna where 1970's-styled disco attire. Andrew wins this game. A siren then emerges from a ? Block, meaning Reggie is calling. The Ask Izzy segment, "Can Izzy Dab???", then plays. Andrew says he is feeling good about his dominance in the game and he thinks he is ready for a challenge in the real world of "brains, brawn, and brains." This scares Izzy and Jenna, as this means Andrew will be facing off against Jon Yeckley: the undefeated champion of "Thwomp, Paper Mario, Blooper" (a parody of Rock paper scissors) with the goal of claiming his title. Andrew asks Jon if he polished his crown today, as he claims it will be his soon. Jon tells Andrew there is no crown, but Andrew does not believe that. During the match, Jon draws Paper Mario and Andrew draws Thwomp. Paper Mario defeats Thwomp, meaning Jon wins. Jon tells Andrew he has been served pie, which Andrew receives. Andrew claims he will get Jon next time, which Jon does not believe in. Jenna tells Andrew she told him he will not win, but Andrew does not care, as he got pie. After Jenna tells the viewer to visit the Play Nintendo website, Andrew says he has got a sugar rush, meaning it is time for the dance party. The video ends with a dance party involving the costumes worn throughout the episode.
