"Hey! Pikmin Awesomeness" is the twenty-sixth episode of The Play Nintendo Show on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. This episode covers Hey! Pikmin.
Plot synopsis[edit]
Andrew Trego and Jenna fly out of Izzy's warp pipe and introduce themselves. Andrew says this episode is so "awesome" that he created the Awesomeness Button. When pressed, a Lakitu carries down pixelated sunglasses. Andrew moves his head so that his eyes are behind the glasses, which he thinks is close enough. "The Play Nintendo Show News" segment then begins, where Izzy claims that a laundry day incident is causing chaos in the streets. A giant Worthington tells a giant Frizzy that it is time for his bath, to which Frizzy moves in the opposite direction. Izzy says there will be more information on this story after the following scene. Jenna tells the viewer that if they are looking for a game to play over the summer on the New Nintendo 2DS XL, they have got them covered. Andrew tells everyone to board the "S. S. Dolphin 2" as Hey! Pikmin has released. After the siblings explain the game, Andrew wishes they had some tiny creatures running around and helping them out. Andrew and Jenna's paper clones than appear, causing Andrew to change his mind. The Adventures of Link and Larry the Cuckoo segment, "Pikango's Patient Painting", then plays. This is followed by the segment, "Frizzy's New Game - Can You Guess the amiibo?", and an Ask Izzy segment. After the hosts tell the viewer to like, subscribe, and to visit the Play Nintendo website, Jenna presses the Invisible Dance Button, starting a dance party. Near the end of the dance party, the cups used in the "Frizzy's New Game - Can You Guess the amiibo?" segment are used.
