At the north-eastern edge of the desert, east from the Inverted Pyramid, is a Moon Pipe located among several cacti and shrubs. It leads Mario to a side-scrolling section, where he has to navigate a channel with long stretches of freezing water. To do so, he must capture Gushens that keep him safe from the water, then charge forward, up and over incoming obstacles, mostly including pools of poison and moving platforms. The water in the channel allows Mario to regenerate the Gushen's water reserve. At the end of the channel, after a long stretch of poison, lie the Power Moon and the exit. Freezing Waterway: Hidden Room
With a Gushen captured, Mario must use the first moving platform to fly further upward, then head to the left and dash through a long poison tunnel. At the end lies a Power Moon, accompanied by some freezing water and another Gushen to help Mario head back. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.
