Fake Out is a microgame in 9-Volt & 18-Volt's mode in Game & Wario, Gamer. Like other microgames in the title, it has an individual Cluck-A-Pop souvenir, titled BALLOON FIGHTER: Fake Out.

Gameplay

The player is presented a fake version of another microgame, in which they must not touch anything to win. When playing in the Cluck-A-Pop, the possibilities cycle in this order:

  • 1st level difficulty: A mouth replaces the nose in Gold Digger. If the player "picks" the mouth, it bites the finger and they lose; if the player does nothing, the mouth blows a kiss and they win.
  • 2nd level difficulty: A cactus appears in Break! If the player pokes the cactus, the finger gets hurt as the screen will turn black and white, and they lose; if the player does nothing, the cactus grows a flower and the player wins.
  • 3rd level difficulty: A doll with a bomb inside appears in Matryoshka. If the player opens the doll, the bomb explodes and they lose; if the player does nothing, a cuckoo bird comes out of the doll's face and the game is won.

When played in Gamer, any one of the three possibilities may show up over the course of the game. Template:9-Volt & 18-Volt's Microgames
