A Super Koopa is a shell-less Koopa that wears a cape, allowing it to fly. They are found in the game Super Mario World, where they appear mostly in Donut Plains' first level and the Twin Bridges area.
If Mario or Luigi jumps on a Super Koopa with a shining cape, not only will it become a blue cape-less Beach Koopa, but a feather will appear, implying that the Super Koopas are merely Beach Koopas with the capes provided by the feather. If you jump on a super koopa that doesn't have a shining cape, it will just become a shell-less beach koopa Spin Jumps and fireballs will defeat all Super Koopas in a single hit.
