Species Yoshi
Appears in Super Mario Kodansha manga ("It's the nostalgic Dr. Mario. But he looks a little older, doesn't he?!") (1992)

Yoppī is Genshi Yoshi's younger sister, who appears in the "Time Traveler" storyline of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. As a female Yoshi, she has long eyelashes and a ribbon on her head.

To thank Mario and Princess Peach of teaching him how to swallow bigger preys, Genshi Yoshi invites them to his village, only to find it deserted, with the exceptions of Yoppī. She explains that, some days ago, a giant spiky turtle came and enslaved their kind to build him a palace. She takes her to the construction site, leaving the rest to his brothers and time travelers. Bowser is then forced to escape to another time period, chased by the heroes, who are rewarded by the Yoshis with a bunch of stone-made Dragon Coins.

In the following chapter, Yoppī's descendant, the sister of chief Geronimo Yoshi, shares a resemblance to her.
