Template:Character-infobox Clefairy is a Fairy-type Pokémon (Normal-type prior to Generation VI) first appearing in Pokémon Red and Green Versions in Japan and Pokémon Red and Blue Versions in other regions. It evolves into Clefable when given a Moon Stone, and as of Generation II evolves from Cleffa when leveled up with high friendship.

In Super Smash Bros., Clefairy appears as a Poké Ball Pokémon. It attacks by using Metronone, in which it copies and uses the move of any other Poké Ball Pokémon at random.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Clefairy uses Metronone to attack, though in this game it, like Togepi, uses one of several attacks at random that causes one of various effects, including:

  • Explosion - Hits any opponents caught in the blast.
  • Blizzard - Freezes any nearby opponents.
  • Fire Spin - Creates a horizontal blast of fire that damages opponents.
  • Whirlwind - Traps opponents in a whirlwind and damages them.
