One Shot Blue[1] is an e-Reader level in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong-e mode of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. It was distributed within a set of five e-Reader cards in an August 2004 sweepstakes from the Japanese magazine CoroCoro Comic.[2] Its English name refers to the fact that the player has only one chance to obtain the blue present in the level.

Overview[edit]

At the start of the level, Mario can progress by riding the RamRams over spikes at the bottom, climbing the ropes, and using the springs. Alternatively, he can perform high jumps such as Backflips to ascend the Crumble Blocks on the left. The key is in the area with the Monchee, where Mario can simply jump on top of the Monchee to reach the door.
