"Battle Course"[1] is a musical theme composed by Shinobu Nagata for Mario Kart DS, where it plays in all battle courses: Nintendo DS, Twilight House, Palm Shore, Tart Top, Block Fort, and Pipe Plaza.

Mario Kart DS marks the first appearance of "Battle Course".

Mario Kart Wii[edit]

In Mario Kart Wii, an arrangement of "Battle Course" plays in DS Twilight House. This arrangement uses higher quality samples, but it is otherwise near identical to the original.

Mario Kart 7[edit]

In Mario Kart 7, the Mario Kart Wii version of "Battle Course" plays in DS Palm Shore. It is likewise titled "DS Palm Shore" in the Nintendo Music app.
