Bowser Castle is a musical theme composed by Shinobu Nagata for Mario Kart DS, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Composition[edit]

"Bowser Castle" features predominantly synthetic elements, as well as a lead choir and sitar. The theme is loosely based on "World 8 Map (Dark Land)" from Super Mario Bros. 3, and the main melody quotes heavily from "Airship Fortress" from Mario Kart DS, specifically the section approximately 37 seconds into "Airship Fortress".
