"Bowser's Theme"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Party 2, where it plays when the player lands on a Bowser Space. This theme serves as Bowser's leitmotif for the game, reappearing multiple times throughout the game in association with Bowser.

Mario Party 2[edit]

Mario Party 2 marks the first appearance of "Bowser's Theme". The game also features four additional arrangements of the theme:

  • An ominous arrangement of "Bowser's Theme" plays during the opening cutscene when Bowser appears. It is titled "Story Two" in the game's sound test.
  • An arrangement of "Bowser's Theme" plays when Bowser appears during the board's ending cutscene and when Bowser is summoned on the board via Bowser Bomb or Bowser's Appearing Act. It is titled "Bowser Appears" in the game's sound test.
  • A brief arrangement of "Bowser's Theme" plays when Bowser and the Koopa Kids kidnap Toad after the player unlocks Bowser Land.
  • A slower-paced arrangement of "Bowser's Theme" plays during the Bowser Parade event in Bowser Land. It is likewise titled "Bowser Parade" in the game's sound test.
