Bigs are large rolling apple monsters[1] in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
History[edit]
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3[edit]
They are found in only one course of SS Tea Cup: Course No.26. They fall from the top of the screen, then roll in Wario's direction, and can damage him. However, he can jump upon them and ride them, unlike spiked balls. After one falls, no others will fall in that particular location until the stage is exited and reentered. When a rolling one hits a wall, it falls offscreen.
Super Mario Kodansha manga[edit]
In the Super Mario Kodansha manga, a Big appears in chapter 3 of Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land 2. While chasing Captain Syrup up a hill in Parsley Woods, she sets off a trap against Bull Mario, Dragon Luigi, and Jet Peach, by making a Big roll towards them. The three are hit, losing their Power Up Hats, and are sent flying into a natural hot spring. Meanwhile, Miss Goom and Yoshi Metto, still at the base of the hill, are about to be squashed by the Big, but Yoshi is able to swallow the entire thing whole.
