Yoshi Metto is an original transformation that Yoshi takes in the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 main arc of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.

Thanks to the magical properties of Yosu Ko, Yoshi manages to warp to Lake Asparagus, where he saves Mario from three Pinwheels by eating them. Worried, Captain Syrup casts a spell on him through the Genie, turning him into a helmet, with "M" logo on the sides (which can change to an "L" or a "K" depending on who wears him), and a gear on the back identical to the one on the Dragon Helmet. Just like the Dragon Helmet, Yoshi Metto is still able to breath fire, allowing Mario to use his own version of the Dragon form. Yoshi is unable to move, but can still speak (even when worn) and smell. At one point, he even consumes an entire Big while still being worn. For the first portion of the story, Mario wears it, while in later chapters, Luigi does, until he grows tired of him turning around, covering his view, and causing him to bump into everything. To accomodate everyone, Miss Goom decides to wear him and does so until the Knight throws all of their headgears (including Yoshi Metto) out of the window.

After defeating the Genie, Yoshi returns to normal.
