Donkey Kong starts under a set of Peg Boards, which the letter K is hovering above. By continuing right, Donkey Kong can optionally talk to [[Cranky Kong]], who explains [[Banana Coin]]s to him. Donkey Kong must climb up another set of Peg Boards and then jump to the right, on a ledge with an arrow sign. Donkey Kong must go right into the second section.


== Walkthrough ==
In the second section, Donkey Kong can talk to Cranky again, who explains about the Up and Down buttons on the Directional Pad. Donkey Kong can optionally continue to the right to fall down a gap with a [[Barrel Cannon]] and the second Banana Coin to the right of it. Donkey Kong must continue on another series of Peg Boards, and the letter O is above the first few Peg Boards. Donkey Kong must go onto a ledge (another ledge with the [[Bonus Barrel]] is above it) and continue right while collecting a few [[banana]]s along the way. Donkey Kong must then climb up a few individual [[peg]]s to reach a wooden platform leading straight to the third section.


Firstly, the [[player]] (who plays as [[Donkey Kong]]) has to climb up the first set of pegs where, at the top, he/she can grab the [[KONG Letters|letter K]]. He/she should then continue to the right and then speak to [[Cranky Kong|Cranky]] by pressing the X button. He will then explain about [[Banana Coin]]s. The player should continue climbing upwards, jump onto the ledge, grab the first of the five Banana Coins, and continue on the section two.
At the start of the third section, Donkey Kong can talk to Cranky, who explains to him about [[oil barrel]]s. Donkey Kong must then continue climbing a set of Peg Boards, and then across some pegs that connect to another set of Peg Boards. After this, Donkey Kong can jump on a [[barrel]] (which contains a 5-count [[Banana Bunch]]) and jump above two pegs to collect an oil barrel.  


The player should now walk over to Cranky and press the X button. He explains about looking around by pressing up or down on the control pad. The player can then continue to the right past Cranky, fall down the gap, walk back over to the left and collect the second Banana Coin, then walk into the [[Barrel Cannon]]. He/she should then jump back onto the pegs, collecting the O and then the third Banana Coin. He/she should then climb up the single (round) pegs and jump onto the small ledge and then into the [[Bonus Barrel]] where he/she can then play [[Banana Bonanza]]. Once it has been played, the player will then return to the in-game ledge. He/she should then continue to the right and onto the third section.

A barrel is hovering within a gap in the rocky wall to the right, and can be broken for the fourth Banana Coin. To the upper-left is a narrow, wooden platform with a 5-count Banana Bunch to the very left. Donkey Kong can jump up to three individual pegs to collect the fifth and final Banana Coin above it. Donkey Kong must climb up some more Peg Boards which lead to the upper-right, Another barrel is floating above the whole set of Peg Boards, and Donkey Kong can blast through the barrel to collect the DK Coin above. He must jump onto the grass-covered rocky surface to the right and walk straight ahead into the [[Goal Gate (DK: Jungle Climber)|Goal Gate]] to complete the level.


The player will now see Cranky Kong again, where he will explain about [[Oil Barrel]]s. He/she can then continue climbing in an upwards/left direction, collecting the letter N along the way. The player can then grab onto the two pegs directly below the [[Barrel|wooden barrel]]. He/she can then press the A button and attack upwards, destroying the wooden barrel and colleting the Oil Barrel. The player can then continue onto the final section of the level.

Cranky Kong will be standing on the ground again, where the player can speak to him. This time he speaks about [[DK Coins]]. Once this lecture is over, the player can then climb up the pegs and collect the letter G and recieve a [[1-Up]]. He/she should then continue climbing over to the right and destoy the wooden barrel and obtain the second last Banana Coin, then jump back onto the pegs and climb over to the wooden platform, walking over to the left, jumping onto the pegs and grabbing the final Banana Coin. The player can then climb up the last set of pegs, destroying the last wooden barrel and obtaining the level's DK Coin. The player can then walk over to the gate labelled "DK", completing the level.
==Bonus Game==
In the second section, Donkey Kong must climb up the Peg Boards and then up the individual pegs. From there, he must do a charge attack to go on a ledge with the [[Bonus Barrel]], where he can play the [[Banana Bonanza]] mini-game.


The player can then move onto World 1-3: [[Jungle Beach]].

Sun Sun Beach is the second level of Sun Sun Island in DK: Jungle Climber. This is also the first main level of the game. It is a basic level and an extension of Cranky's Teachins, as Cranky Kong appears in each section of Sun Sun Beach to teach a few more game basics to Donkey Kong.

Layout[edit]

Donkey Kong starts under a set of Peg Boards, which the letter K is hovering above. By continuing right, Donkey Kong can optionally talk to Cranky Kong, who explains Banana Coins to him.
