Stumper Sneakaround is the second level of Episode 2 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name. The level takes place in a dark forest area. This level introduces the Stumpers, which cannot be defeated. However, they can be used as platforms to reach certain coins and Super Gems. This forest also contains three Piranha Creepers, which wake up only when the P Switches are pressed.

Layout[edit]

The player starts at the bottom-right corner of the stage, in a small nook with two Stumpers. The player must dodge the Stumpers to get to a ledge, where the player must use the Stumpers in order to reach a P Switch, which drops a tree which is used as a bridge leading to the rest of the stage. After the player crosses the bridge, there is a hallway with two pairs of Stumpers moving back-and-fourth, as well as a Pluck Patch containing a Key. After the Stumpers there are two pathways, on which leads to an underground area with several Pluck Patches and coins and the other which leads to a pathway with a Piranha Creeper and another P Switch which drops a wooden bridge. The wooden bridge has two floors, both of which need to be traversed in order to land underground, where a Piranha Creeper must be dodged in order to reach this level's Power Star, ending the stage.

Super Gems[edit]

  • Super Gem 1: Behind a locked door; the key can be found in a Pluck Patch above the bridge leading to the door.
  • Super Gem 2: Given by a mole-enemy at the bottom of the course.
  • Super Gem 3: On top of the Stumpers near the key.

Enemies[edit]

Pixel Toad[edit]

The Pixel Toad is underneath the last Piranha Creeper before the star. The player must defeat the Piranha Creeper by landing on it before seeing the Pixel Toad.
