The Tongue is one of Yoshi's special items in Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.
Upon using the item, Yoshi will repeatedly stick out his tongue for about 7 seconds. If another racer comes close to Yoshi while he is doing this, Yoshi will eat their held item, permanently removing it from play.
The Tongue is one of the few items to have a unique animation for the character using it. Others include the Conga and the Snot Bomb.
