Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr./Mario Bros. is an arcade system released in 2004 for North America in which players could choose which of the three games they wanted to play. The games available are in the name of the arcade system, which are Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros. All three games are from the internationally released arcade versions as opposed to the Japanese arcade versions or the NES Arcade Classics Series versions found on the Nintendo PlayChoice-10. Up until the Arcade Archives versions on the Nintendo Switch, this machine was the only release for all three games that featured the original arcade versions since their inception.
Other than the more common upright cabinets, this arcade system also came in cabaret and cocktail cabinets.[1] Because the aspect ratio for Mario Bros. is different from the other two games, it may appear stretched or cropped to fit onscreen.
Controls[edit]
All the games use a joystick and a jump button. Because Mario Bros. can be played by two people simultaneously, a second set of controls is also provided.
