Throughout the level, Yoshi has to traverse a series of Flatbed Ferries that move on diagonal tracks, as the level's name indicates. Some Flatbed Ferries move on circuits, which enclose items such as coins and Smiley Flowers that Yoshi can collect by traveling around these circuits. Smiley Flowers
Smiley Flower 1: Held inside a Winged Cloud carried by a Fly Guy. To find it, Yoshi must take the top-right lift from the Egg Plant and ride it to the other end of its track. Yoshi can hit the Winged Cloud with an enemy or an egg or simply eat the Fly Guy to reveal the flower.
Smiley Flower 2: Surrounded by four moving lifts after several Bill Blasters and Fly Guys.
