Exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a bonus level that appears after completing enough levels. The final bonus level in the entire game is based on the layout for Level 8-1+, removing all hazards and adding several Springs and another Garbage Can. The player must make use of the springs to quickly collect all the 1-Up Mushrooms way up ahead, and to quickly catch the flying key.
