The Paper Mushroom is one of multiple items featured in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, currently exclusive to said game. Appearing simply as a scroll depicting a faded Mushroom, it is classified as a throw-forward, defense-type item, and is used as such. If the player equips it and subsequently collects one from an Item Box, they may toss it at another driver ahead of them. If successful in striking a racer, their Kart is temporarily turned into a sheet of paper, this lasting only a short time.
