"Sky Arena" is a musical theme composed for Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, where it plays in the race course of the same name.
Compostion[edit]
The theme makes use of mainly synthetic instruments, and heavily utilizes pitch bends throughout. The percussion notably features a prominent cowbell. The opening of the theme features drums which directly quote the drums from "Airship BGM".

Mario Kart Arcade GP DX[edit]
Mario Kart Arcade GP DX marks the first appearance of "Sky Arena".
In addition to its regular version, Sky Arena uses a unique arrangement of "Sky Arena" for its final lap. "Sky Arena" is one of four themes in the game to do this, the others being "Splash Circuit"[conjectural], "Tropical Coast"[conjectural], and "Bon Dance Street"[conjectural].
