“You'll also get Candy by finding it around the board. You never know what you'll get, but it's free!”
MC Ballyhoo, Mario Party 8

? Candies[1] are areas that appear on the boards of Mario Party 8, serving as the successors of the Orb Spaces from Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7. Whenever a player passes over a ? Candy, they receive a free piece of Candy at random. Passing a ? Candy does not decrease the steps the player has remaining, since ? Candies do not qualify as spaces. ? Candies disappear on the final turn and no longer give free Candies.

Bitsize Candy and Weeglee Candy are obtainable only from ? Candies and cannot be bought in Candy Shops.
