Second Course is the second level of the Gold Rush Pack in New Super Mario Bros. 2, as well as the second DLC level in the game.

Layout[edit]

Throughout most of the level, Mario must ride a Sky Move Lift like in World 5-A, except in a seaside-like area instead of the sky. The first section features a lone Koopa Troopa, along with Cheep Cheeps that leap out of the water. A Roulette Coin Block then appears, followed by a Gold Ring. Afterwards, a POW Block appears and can be hit to reveal three Gold Mushrooms. Two more Gold Rings appear, followed by the Goal Pole.

Star Coins[edit]

  • Star Coin 1: Suspended over water, Mario needs to wait until it is in between the ship's gap in the middle.
  • Star Coin 2: In the middle of the level, in mid-air, between a few coins.
  • Star Coin 3: Between a few Brick Blocks, Mario can either enter it from the bottom, or ground pound the blocks on top.

Secret exit[edit]

Just above the POW Block, Mario can take a Warp Pipe that leads to another area with many Cheep Cheeps, three Super Stars, and a ? Switch that releases a coin shower just before the red Goal Pole.
