Social Climbers is a 4-Player minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name is a pun on a phrase that refers to people who are eager to gain a higher social status.
Gameplay
In this minigame, the players must continuously climb a pole. The first player to reach the top wins.
On the Challenge Road, this is the fifth challenge of Shell Street and the fifth challenge overall. The goal is to reach the top in 25 seconds for the normal challenge and 20 seconds for the Master Challenge.
Upon winning the minigame, most characters will do a handstand on top of the pole. If Peach, Daisy, or Rosalina wins, she will sit on the pole instead. Lacking arms, Goomba balances on his head.
