This is what SWFlash told me to do(I copied and pasted it from my archive)

Download Paint.NET (it's free/without ads/forever)
Double click the .zip file that you've downloaded. You'll see the .exe file, open it.
I think you know how to install programs so I'll just skip this part.
After the installation, you'll see the Pain.NET shortcut on your desktop. Double click it.
Click "File", then "Open…", then find the file that you want to be transparent.
For example, we want the somewhat-green parts of this image to be transparent:
How select this thing:
Change tolerance at the top to 0%:
Click on the green part, it will look like that:
Press "Delete" button on your keyboard and…
If you have more parts to be transparent, go back to 9.
Now your image is checkered! But beleive or not it's now actually transparent. Just save it as .png and see.
