Effect Shova Boost

The Shova Racket is a Fever Racket in Mario Tennis Fever. It is unlocked after playing 38 matches. The racket resembles a Shova glove, black on one side and red on the other, with a Shova emblem at its center and a yellow handle. When fully charged, the racket glows.

In the Trial Towers, the Shova Racket appears in the Tower of Trickery's "Super Toad" trial as the opponent Toad's racket.

The Shova Racket's Fever Shot is called the Shova Boost. When activated it deals damage around the area where the ball bounces and causes the player to summon a pair of Shova gloves which push the opponent towards the back of the court whenever they return the ball. If the player with the Shova Boost slides or dives for the ball, the effect is not applied. This effect is not neutered by the invincibility granted by a Metal Boost or a Star Boost.
