"Kongoléo" is a dance-pop, Latin-sounding song that aired as part of DKTV in 1997.[2] It is heavily inspired by the song "Bamboléo" by the band Gipsy Kings. Most of the verses are sung by Donkey Kong (voiced by Christophe Albertini).
The music video, directed by Pascal Tosi,[2] shows Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Candy Kong, and real-life women dancing on the beach. Towards the end of the video, the characters dance in a night club and Funky (voiced by Philippe Sax) makes a speech as a DJ.
