"Télé Arnaque" (lit. "Scam TV") is a skit that aired as part of DKTV. It is framed as a teleshopping show that presents a product named the "Tarzan".
Summary[edit]
Pierre and Denise begin by greeting each other, then Denise asks about the new "extraordinary, fabulous" item now being sold at the Télé Arnaque shop. Pierre explains that it is the Tarzan, a living, human-like object he describes as "useful", "educational", and "multifunctional". Denise is intrigued but skeptical, doubting that the Tarzan is truly alive. To convince her, Pierre shows a series of videos demonstrating its functions. The first depicts the Tarzan being used as a loud alarm clock, but the annoyed user responds by hitting it. Pierre then shows another video in which the Tarzan is used as a bedside rug, only for the user to try to hurt it. Denise calls this "extraordinary", but states that it doesn't seem very educational. In response, Pierre affirms that the Tarzan can be used as an English teacher, and presents a third video showing the Tarzan telling the user, "Me, Tarzan. You, Cheeta." The user angrily replies that her name is Marie. Pierre then announces to the viewer that a Tarzan costs 9,999.99 francs with shipping included. He adds that anyone who calls 0836 0836 before 2 p.m. will receive a bonus gift: leopard-print underwear featuring his face. Pierre concludes the skit by promising to see the viewers again soon for another episode of Télé Arnaque.
