Template:Species-infobox Fawful Guys are Shy Guys that wear orange robes and a Fawful face mask. They are found in Bowser Path and in Bowser’s Castle (in the latter location, they only appear alongside Magifoofas) during the events of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story; they also have a dark version in Peach’s Castle. They will instantly be defeated by Bowser if he runs into them in the overworld, dropping coins, but Mario and Luigi have to fight them.

They attack in strange ways. One of their attacks involves getting eaten by an offscreen creature that has the tongue of a Yoshi and a roar similar to Yoob, a massive Yoshi monster from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (in the remake, there is no roar). The creature encases them in a green-and-yellow Yoshi Egg (making reference to both Yoob and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island) and launches them at the Mario Bros. Right before the Fawful Guy is launched, a target will appear showing who they will attack. If the brothers jump on the egg, they can cause significant damage to the Fawful Guy. They will also leap towards the brothers and attempt to headbutt them (jumping à la Woozy Guys), which they have to counter with their hammers. They will occasionally be equipped with a folded umbrella that they release at the climax of their jump to disrupt the brothers' timing with their hammers, requiring them to wait a split second longer before counterattacking.

Fawful Guys return in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, where they additionally are found as melee enemies in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode. Their Special Skill is Chain Stomp. The description states they were Orange Shy Guys that willingly defected to Fawful's side. In the 3DS version of Bowser's Inside Story, they wear light orange clothes with blue shoes, while in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey side mode, they wear dark orange clothes and black shoes similarly to the original Nintendo DS game.
