Mawful Moles are Monty Mole-like enemies with a resemblance to Fawful in Blubble Lake in the game Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Bowser can defeat these in the overworld by simply touching them, meaning Mario and Luigi fight these enemies. They also have a metal version. They attack by throwing boulders at the characters fighting them. This attack needs to be countered by a jump. If they get dirt on their faces, they will miss and throw it really high, which will hurt the brothers if they jump. The moles may also "wink", showing the bro they are going to attack. This attack can be countered with the hammer, which can be done several times until the mole jumps over the selected bro to fall on him.
