Lakitu Kings are enemies found in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They resemble a standard Lakitu with a gold crown and gold stars on their cloud. When Bowser gets into a battle with a Beehoss or group of Beehosses, the Lakitu King may appear on the top screen. If Bowser inhales it using his Vacuum ability, Mario and Luigi will be able to fight it. The Lakitu King will attack by throwing Spinies at the Mario Bros. They will also sometimes throw Coins for them to collect. If the Mario Bros. do not defeat the Lakitu King within a few turns, it will fly off, causing Bowser to cough it up, and fly away.
A variant is the Glam Lakitu.
