The old lady, played by Sylvia Harman, is a character in the Super Mario Bros. movie. She is an elderly woman of the Dinohattan dimension who often mugged people for coins.

She encountered Mario and Luigi after their recent arrival at the dimension, and intended to mug them with her stun stick after confirming they lacked a weapon. After noticing Daisy's pendant, she deduced its value and ripped it from Luigi's neck. However, Big Bertha interfered and proceeded to throw her into traffic before promptly taking the pendant for herself. She ultimately survived landing on a car, although she was shown to be irritated at the turn of events.

Trivia

  • In a continuity error, her stun stick disappears when she is picked up and thrown by Big Bertha, but reappears after she lands on the car. Neither her stunt double, who was thrown, nor the stunt dummy, which landed on the car, had the prop.
