Mini-Game Battle is a game mode in Mario Party 2 and a sub-mode of Mini-Game Stadium, the mode is unlockable in Mini-Game Land. It is unlocked by buying at least three 4-Player, 2-vs-2, and 1-vs-3 Minigames.

Here, the player's character can battle other characters in multiple minigames. At the start, the player can choose the match rules (3-Win, 5-Win, or 7-Win) and the category of the minigames (4-Player, 2-vs-2, 1-vs-3, or Battle). A random minigame from the specific category will be chosen, and all the players will start the minigame. After every minigame, the winner is rewarded with a cup. The first player to get the specified number of cups wins, and is put under the spotlight and declared the winner.
