Lightning Round is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name is a pun on a phrase that refers to a round in a game or contest that gives players a certain amount of time to accomplish as much as possible.

Introduction[edit]

A Sumo Bro flies in on a floating platform. It stomps twice, sending out electric sparks to opposite sides of the main platform. The players then drop in on the main platform, and the minigame begins.
