Venusaur is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue. It evolves from Ivysaur at level 32 and is the final form of Bulbasaur. Starting from Generation VI, Venusaur can Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, it can be spawned from a Poké Ball and attacks by using Earthquake (interestingly, Venusaur could not learn this move at the time of Melee's release), which involves Venusaur stomping on the ground, creating shockwaves that do strong damage and knockback to any opponent caught in it.

Evolving from Ivysaur, this deceptively toxic Pokémon has a huge flower on its back that emits a cloying fragrance: the scent lulls its enemies into a state of calmness. Venusaur's flower synthesizes sunshine into pure energy for its Solarbeam move. Think of Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon and Venusaur comes first.

Mega Venusaur Trophy of Mega Venusaur in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. With a special type of Mega Stone called Venusaurite, Venusaur can Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur in the middle of a battle. Not only does Venusaur get a large defense boost when it Mega Evolves, but the plants on its back grow so much, it looks like you're being attacked by a walking jungle. Now, that's got to be intimidating!
