World 6-2 (Chapter 6-2 in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic; titled Make a Night Flight on Albatoss![1]) is the second level of World 6 in Super Mario Bros. 2. This is the only level in the game where Albatosses never carry Bob-Ombs like they normally do. In Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario Advance, this level's overworld's background is the hills similar to the roof area of World 3-3, but recolored purple since it is in the night setting, despite the adjacent levels in this world are desert-themed like World 2. However, the underground areas in the beginning of the level and the battle against Green Birdo have the barren rocky underground background like any other desert level.
Layout[edit]
The player needs to ride an Albatoss to the right until they reach a platform that contains a Magical Potion, which will provide one coin and one mushroom. Then after riding another Albatoss going to the right until the player reaches a third Albatoss, they must jump to the third Albatoss and continue to the right. Riding that Albatoss to the end of the screen, the player will encounter Green Birdo in a cave, who must be defeated with Mushroom Blocks.
