The Spiny Racket is a Fever Racket in Mario Tennis Fever. It is unlocked after playing 28 matches. The racket has a yellow head with a red top and white trims. Small spikes stick out from the red top, resembling a Spiny. The racket's handle is also red. At the center of the net is a Spiny Egg symbol. When fully charged, the racket glows.
Fever Shot[edit]
The Spiny Racket's Fever Shot is called the Spiny Shot. When activated, it transforms the ball into a Spiny Egg. Once it hits the court, the ball transforms back, deals damage in a small circular area around it, and summons more Spiny Eggs, which are launched upwards and spread out. The longer the ball is rallied without bouncing, the more Spiny Eggs are summoned, from a minimum of three up to six eggs. Once they land, they unfurl into Spinies who, after a brief pause, begin slowly chasing after players on their side of the court. When touched, they brifly damage the player and cause them to trip before disappearing. A Spiny hit by a ball also disappears. Otherwise, Spinies disappear on their own after a while.
