"Cheese Land"[1] is a musical theme composed for Mario Kart: Super Circuit, where it plays in Cheese Land. This theme features very high-pitched noises to represent the Little Mousers on the track.

In Mario Kart 8, an arrangement of "Cheese Land" featuring new, live-recorded instruments such as guitars, horns, saxophones, and drums plays in GBA Cheese Land.
A looping drum set beat is added to the theme whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place. These frontrunning beats are uniquely out of sync with the theme.
