*Minigame Star:Minigame Star Mini-Game Star The Minigame Star (originally spelled Mini-Game Star and Mini-game Star) has appeared in every Mario Party game to date. It is awarded to whoever collected the most coins in every minigame altogether. Coins won from Battle (pre-Mario Party 5), Duel, Game Guy, and Donkey Kong minigames are not accounted for. In Mario Party 9, Mario Party DS, and Mario Party Superstars, the number of minigame wins is counted instead.

Albatosses used to be normal residents of Subcon until the maniacal Wart seized power. The toad king ordered the red birds to be part of his military. Albatosses were trained to carry Bob-ombs and drop them on civilians who would otherwise make for the new dictator.
Alien (Club Nintendo)
("For context, this is about a bunch of background characters from exactly one German comic that never see any real individual focus outside of their leader.")

The aliens first appeared in the Club Nintendo comic "Sag niemals Holerö".
<div id=fh3 class=mw-headline>Intentions</div>
The aliens planned to turn all the humans into food with the help of the Master Alien's plans. Disguised as a human, (a famous singer named Heini), the Master Alien used a magical word in a song to turn all the humans into food. This word was "Holerö". Once the humans were food he devised a plot to get them to all come to one place; one of his "concerts". As the music became popular it was played in different places turning the people who heard it into food. For example in the comic a women decides to listen to it on a jukebox but luckily Bomberman blows it up before she can transform. After gathering the "food people" into one area the aliens would then devour them. Mario, T.T., and Bomberman put a stop to this with the help of a magic toilet brush.
<div id=fh3 class=mw-headline>Types</div>

There were many types of aliens that showed up to the feast. The aliens include:
*Bird Alien - These aliens resemble ostriches that walk upright and have two arms. The bird aliens have purple feathers on the back of their heads and shoulders. They have a beak containing a long red tongue, and have what seems to be teeth. The rest of the their body is covered in yellow feathers with a red and yellow suit covering most of their upper body and torso.
*Sickobratz - They are seen in the background as waiters.
*Ant Alien - The ant aliens resembled large ants or cockroaches. They were relatively short. They stood up on two feet and had two arms, were brown, had antennae, and had a large mouth baring sharp teeth. They can be seen saying "Porinki-Porinki!", which is presumably their language.
*Blue Alien - The blue aliens have a hippopotamus-like appearance. The blue aliens were blue and wore a purple and black suit that covered most of the body except for the face. Their suits had tubes coming out of the back of it, and going into the head, perhaps a breathing mechanism. They can be seen saying "Yalla-Yalla", which may be their language.
*Brown Alien - The brown alien has large blue eyes and a long tube like mouth, with three-fingered hands.
*Green Alien - The green alien is a large, buff alien bearing a mouth with large pink lips, many sharp teeth, and a long red tongue. The green alien also wears a dome shaped red and gold hard hat. They can be seen shouting "Krzbrzl-Korizl!", which is probably their language.
*Cycloptic Alien - The cycloptic alien has one eye. This alien is blue, and has a face with light blue facial hair: a mustache, and a beard that goes up over its head. This alien also has a large mouth with many sharp teeth and its head also has golden bolts on both sides.
*Iguana Alien - This alien is briefly seen and resembles an iguana with a suit on. It has spotty skin with large, curved tusks coming out of its mouth.
*Squid Alien - This alien resembles a blooper or just a squid like animal. This alien probably comes from an aquatic planet. The alien's face, however, resembled a fish, and also had fins on the cheeks and a spiky dorsal fin going down its back.
<div id=fh3 class=mw-headline>UFOs</div>

The UFOs seen in the parking lot are presumably the way the aliens came to Earth. UFOs are high-tech vehicles that can travel large distances in space. There are also many different kinds according to the comic, some shaped like saucers and others look like squares.
<div id=fh3 class=mw-headline>Trivia</div>

Artichoker
Most of the time, Artichokers remain stationary, appearing to be normal shrubs. This is, in fact, a clever survival mechanism that allows the Artichokers to prey on unsuspecting travelers. Since items can sometimes be found in shrubs, an unlucky adventurer may accidentally stumble across an Artichoker, instead of treasure. After falling for the deception, the adventurer will have to fight the plant monster in combat. Unfortunately for the traveler, Artichokers prove to be very tough opponents.

Beanbean Guard
Beanbean Guards are shown to not be very bright as they do not know of the many things the Mario Bros. tells them (Princess Peach, Chuckola Reserve, etc.). They also do not seem to be very powerful or good at their job, as they are beaten by Fawful numerous times.

(Pirate Goomba's revenge? -FanOfYoshi)
Beezos
Beezos are a sub-species of Shy Guys that first appear in Super Mario Bros. 2. These types of species appear to have tridents armed as weapons. In addition to their physical appearance, they also have wings on their back; capable of flying.
Beezos attack by flying towards Mario or one of his friends using their pitchfork and then get within contact towards the character. They normally appear in packs as they proceed to attack the character that was played by the player. Beezos in packs endlessly appear on the screen; they won’t leave the character alone until the character leaves the current level the player is currently playing in.

To defeat them, there are two methods of basic defeating. The players can use the Vegetables that appeared growing in the ground or other throwable objects and throw it to one of them. Sadly, more and more Beezos will endlessly arrive by proceeding to attack the character. Another method is by first simply jumping on one of them, pick up the unit that the character is standing on and can throw it towards another Beezo.
Beezos reappear in Super Mario Advance, as the same attack methods exist being used. During gameplay, if the player defeats a single Beezo, the player acquires 4000 points total.
A similar species called a Shy Away appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Boo Guy
Boo Guys employed a variety of traps in the game, including maces. Individual Boo Guys operated a single mace attached to a long chain. When a Boo Guy spotted a Yoshi, the ghost would drop the mace from the ceiling, hoping to crush the dinosaur. However, the Yoshi would have to be directly under the mace for the attack to be effective, and the Boo Guys tended to simply drop their maces continuously, instead of dropping the weapon at the most opportune moment. Since the weapon was heavy, it would take some time for the Boo Guy to pull the ball up to attempt another attack, allowing the Yoshis to pass safely underneath the weapon. This was the only way to get past these weapons, as the chain itself would actually damage the heroic dinosaurs.
[...]
After dropping the bomb, the unfortunate Boo Guy would eventually hang its head down in shame, while the other ghosts shook their heads in disappointment.

Broozer
Very little is known about what is under a Broozer's sheet, or if it even is a sheet. It may be a special type of Boo, but it just as likely could be a entirely new being. The only parts not hidden are their shoes and boxing gloves, although the latter could just as well be their hands. Their seeming lack of intelligence could mean that they are lowly enemies, like Goomba, in disguise. It is possible that they are mechanical, as they twitch when attacked and seem to have no memory. Their masks could even be a part of them, like theorized of Shy Guys, rather than just a garment, like Nabbit. They chiefly inhabit Ghost Houses, meaning that they could be under the control of the Boos.

Brown Yoshi
ComBat only appear in Yoshi's Story.  Pictures of them are extremely rare, some of the rarest of the already rare Yoshi's Story official artwork.  For those who wish to view one outside the game, it is best to buy the official guide to Yoshi's Story, which is full of the artwork.

While nobody understands what they say initially, they are actually very intelligent and often discuss complex issues, such as family matters, stocks, the environment, and even university applications, but they mostly do this when no one is around, and when in presence of other people, they mostly make "caw" sounds. Their intelligence is a reference to how actual crows are highly intelligent species in the animal kingdom, rivaling chimpanzees.

Though evil, he fights exactly like Bowser.
("Isn't Bowser already evil to begin with?")
<div id=fh3 class=mw-headline>Concept and creation</div>
The reason for the fake Bowsers in the original Super Mario Bros. is due to the fact that, while the game was still in development, since all enemies have their sprites flipped upside-down when they are defeated (including Goombas, which had two death animations, with the other being flattened, and except for Piranha Plants, which simply disappear, and Bullet Bills, which stay rightside up, while defeated Koopa Troopas and Buzzy Beetles turn into upside-down shells), one of the programmers accidentally inserted an upside-down Koopa Troopa shell when portraying Bowser's death animation as if he were defeated with fireballs. The developers liked this idea, and as a result, this idea was extended to most of the Bowser battles in the game.
(Here's a masterclass in how to make a fairly simple statement way more confusing and hard to read than it needs to. Never use one word where three might do and redundantly state which enemies have their sprites flipped, because simply saying "except [the ones that don't]" would just not have been obvious enough.)

The Koopa Troopas' most known caracterist is their shells, that resmbles turtles' shells (this fact has formed a rumor that Koopa Troopas are turtles). Another famous caracterist is their shell's protection that can be knocked, attacking other enemies (as seen in many platform games).
<div id=fh4 class=mw-headline>Physical Appearance</div>
Koopa Troopas' shells comes in four colors: green, red, yellow and blue. The most known are the green and red ones, specially, the green ones.
All Koopa Troopas have a gold-yellow skin and a big snout. They also have light brown joints at their chests and abdomen (as seen in Bowser), however, this part of their body are covered with their shells.
Koopa Troopas also use shoes of the same color of their shells.
<div id=fh4 class=mw-headline>Speech</div>
In the course of the Mario franchise, Koopa Troopas are seen to have English as their native language. In the games that character's voices aren't shown speaking phrases, Koopa Troopas make owl-like sounds, having English just legenged. This can be because Koopa Troopas have their own language, that Mario (or other characters) can understand. In Paper Mario series, all Koopa Troopas knows only speak English. Also having Koopa Troopas partners speaking this same language, through speaking bubbles.
<div id=fh4 class=mw-headline>Gender</div>
Koopa Troopas have their gender differences, being male or female. An exemple is a Mario Party 5 mini-game called Flower Shower. Kuff 'n' Klout (also known as the Kremling Twins) are extra-big, beefed-up Kremlings in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. Even stronger and burlier than the massive Krumples, Kuff 'n' Klout are found only in Krematoa. They first appear in Stampede Sprint and Criss Kross Cliffs, and they even have their very own underground level, called Tyrant Twin Tussle, where they attack by playing a game of leapfrog and by racing about the screen, shoulder to shoulder.
The Kremling Twins are nearly invincible, since they can only be defeated by using barrels, by using Squitter's webs, and theoretically, Ellie's trunk squirting and Squawks's egg spitting. If only one of them is defeated, the other will continue to charge and then disappear when Dixie or Kiddy go offscreen, or target them to avenge his fallen counterpart (SNES version), or remain motionless and suddenly disappear a few seconds later (GBA version). According to the game's credits, Kuff 'n' Klout belong to the "Kremling Kreeps" enemy class.

Bonus Star

Types of Bonus Stars

Magikoopa receiving a Bonus Star in Mario Party 9
Magikoopa receiving the Minigame Star in Mario Party 9
 • Minigame Star: The Minigame Star (originally spelled Mini-Game Star and Mini-game Star) has appeared in every Mario Party game to date.
 • Coin Star: This Bonus Star first appeared in Mario Party and appeared in every subsequent game up to Mario Party 5, returning in Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars as the Rich Star. In the first five Mario Party games, it is awarded to whoever held the most coins at any time during gameplay. In Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars, it is instead awarded to the player who collected the most coins total throughout the game, including coins spent and stolen from them.
 • Happening Star: Also known as the Event Star, Green Star, Action Star, or ? Star, the Happening Star has appeared in every Mario Party game until Mario Party 9, returning in Super Mario Party as the Eventful Star. It is awarded to whoever landed on the most ? Spaces during gameplay.
 • Orb Star: Appearing in Mario Party 6, Mario Party 7, Mario Party 8 (as the Candy Star), Mario Party DS, Mario Party 9 (as the Dice Block Star), Mario Party: Star Rush, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Super Mario Party (as the Item Star), this Star is given to whoever used the most Orbs, items, Candies, or Special Dice Blocks during gameplay. It replaces the Coin Star in Mario Party 6.
 • Red Star: This Bonus Star appears in Mario Party 7 and Mario Party 8, returning in Super Mario Party as the Unlucky Star. It is given to whoever landed on the most Red Spaces during gameplay. In Super Mario Party, it also counts the number of Bad Luck Spaces and Extra Bad Luck Spaces landed on.
 • Running Star: This Bonus Star appears in Mario Party 7, Mario Party 8, Mario Party DS, and Mario Party 9 (as the Far Star to fit the vehicular movement mechanic), returning in Mario Party: Star Rush and Super Mario Party as the Sightseer Star. It is given to whoever moved the most spaces altogether by rolling the Dice Block.
 • Shopping Star: This Bonus Star appears in Mario Party 7 and Mario Party 8. It is given to whoever spent the most coins at Orb huts and Candy Shops, respectively. Shops that Bowser runs (through Bowser Time) count towards this total.
 • Friendship Star: Appearing only in Mario Party DS, this Bonus Star is given to whoever landed on the most Friend Spaces during gameplay.
 • Hex Star: Appearing only in Mario Party DS, this Bonus Star is given to whoever threw the most Hexes.
 • Minus Star: Appearing in Mario Party 9, this Bonus Star is given to whoever collected the most Mini Ztars (or Z-Bananas on DK's Jungle Ruins) throughout the course of the game.
 • Slow Star: Appearing in Mario Party 9, this Bonus Star is given to whoever rolled the lowest Dice Block total throughout the course of the game. It reappears in Mario Party: Star Rush, Super Mario Party, and Mario Party Superstars as the Slowpoke Star.
 • Spin Star: Appearing only in Mario Party 9, this Bonus Star is given to whoever landed on the most Spin Spaces throughout the course of the game.
 • Balloon Star: Appearing in Mario Party: Star Rush, this Bonus Star is given to whoever popped the most balloons.
 • Champion Star: Appearing in Mario Party: Star Rush, this Bonus Star is given to whoever is the "undeniable minigame champion." This likely refers to the player who won every single minigame in a round or won the most out of everyone.
 • Almost Star: Appearing in Mario Party: Star Rush, this Bonus Star is given to the player who collected the fewest Star Balloons. This Bonus Star returns in Mario Party: The Top 100 as the So-Close Star.
 • Anti-Items Star: Appearing in Mario Party: Star Rush, this Bonus Star is given to the player who collected the fewest items. This Bonus Star returns in Mario Party: The Top 100 as the Unused Star.

 • Ally Star: Introduced in Super Mario Party, this Bonus Star is given to the player who has collected the most allies in a game.
 • Buddy Star: Introduced in Super Mario Party, this Bonus Star is given to the player who has collected a randomly selected buddy. The game determines the "lucky" buddy when determining which Bonus Stars will appear for the game. This Star is similar to the "Lucky Ally Bonus" seen in Mario Party: Star Rush.
 • Doormat Star: Introduced in Super Mario Party, this Bonus Star appears only in the Partner Party mode. It is given to the player who is stomped on the most times by other players. This happens when another player moves through their space.
 • Stompy Star: Introduced in Super Mario Party, this Bonus Star appears only in the Partner Party mode. It is given to the player who stomps on other players the most times. This happens when the player moves through another player's space.
 • Bowser Space Star: Introduced in Mario Party Superstars, this Bonus Star is given to the player who landed on the most Bowser Spaces.

Trivia
 • The name is a pun on the word airbag.

Albatoss

Albatosses used to be normal residents of Subcon until the maniacal Wart seized power. The toad king ordered the red birds to be part of his military. Albatosses were trained to carry Bob-ombs and drop them on civilians who would otherwise make for the new dictator.

Alien (Club Nintendo)

("For context, this is about a bunch of background characters from exactly one German comic that never see any real individual focus outside of their leader.")

A comic scene
The aliens preparing for the feast

The aliens first appeared in the Club Nintendo comic "Sag niemals Holerö".

Intentions

Types
Alien (Club Nintendo)
From left to right: Cyclopyic Alien, Iguana Alien, and Squid Alien

There were many types of aliens that showed up to the feast. The aliens include:

 • Bird Alien - These aliens resemble ostriches that walk upright and have two arms. The bird aliens have purple feathers on the back of their heads and shoulders. They have a beak containing a long red tongue, and have what seems to be teeth. The rest of the their body is covered in yellow feathers with a red and yellow suit covering most of their upper body and torso.
 • Sickobratz - They are seen in the background as waiters.
 • Ant Alien - The ant aliens resembled large ants or cockroaches. They were relatively short. They stood up on two feet and had two arms, were brown, had antennae, and had a large mouth baring sharp teeth. They can be seen saying "Porinki-Porinki!", which is presumably their language.
 • Blue Alien - The blue aliens have a hippopotamus-like appearance. The blue aliens were blue and wore a purple and black suit that covered most of the body except for the face. Their suits had tubes coming out of the back of it, and going into the head, perhaps a breathing mechanism. They can be seen saying "Yalla-Yalla", which may be their language.
 • Brown Alien - The brown alien has large blue eyes and a long tube like mouth, with three-fingered hands.
 • Green Alien - The green alien is a large, buff alien bearing a mouth with large pink lips, many sharp teeth, and a long red tongue. The green alien also wears a dome shaped red and gold hard hat. They can be seen shouting "Krzbrzl-Korizl!", which is probably their language.
 • Cycloptic Alien - The cycloptic alien has one eye. This alien is blue, and has a face with light blue facial hair: a mustache, and a beard that goes up over its head. This alien also has a large mouth with many sharp teeth and its head also has golden bolts on both sides.
 • Iguana Alien - This alien is briefly seen and resembles an iguana with a suit on. It has spotty skin with large, curved tusks coming out of its mouth.
 • Squid Alien - This alien resembles a blooper or just a squid like animal. This alien probably comes from an aquatic planet. The alien's face, however, resembled a fish, and also had fins on the cheeks and a spiky dorsal fin going down its back.
UFOs
The UFOs in the parking lot

The UFOs seen in the parking lot are presumably the way the aliens came to Earth. UFOs are high-tech vehicles that can travel large distances in space. There are also many different kinds according to the comic, some shaped like saucers and others look like squares.

Trivia
 • One of the aliens (Heini) resembles Cthulhu.

Paper Mario

They can dash at an amazing speed towards Mario.

[...]

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

They have lost their amazing speed.

Bazza

As revealed in the Game Boy Advance remake, Bazzas can live in both fresh and salt water.

Bee (Donkey Kong Jungle Beat)

Bees are a species of bee-like enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.

(Pirate Goomba's revenge? -FanOfYoshi (talk))

Beezos

Beezo
The two different colored Beezos that debuted in Super Mario Advance.

Artwork of a yellow Beezo.
An illustration of a yellow Beezo.

Appearances In Other Media
Beezo
A Beezo, dressed up as a knight, from The Super Mario Bros Super Show!
Cartoons

Beezos made several appearances on The Super Mario Bros Super Show!, usually serving as guards.

Trivia
 • Beezos are found in two colors: red and pink (in newer versions they are pink and brown).
 • In Luigi's Mansion, Beezos are referenced by Shy Guy ghosts that could levitate and were armed with a pitchfork.

("It's funny that it refers to Shy Away as a similar species in this revision before the fact this name was properly translated back as a 'Beezo' in the Nintendo Switch remake of the game itself." - EleCyon (talk))

Behemoth King

Behemoth King Is The Main Antagonist Of Mario Sports Mix He Is A tougher guy than Behemoth please lookout for his attacks

("The concern for the reader's well-being is admirable, at least.")

Big Scorper

Trivia

("For context, the page was named "SandWorm" before being moved. This is what happens when you're not careful with Word search & replace.")

Blindfold Boo

As they cannot see where Yoshi is located, they trust in their auditive senses to perceive the Yoshi's location and then attack.

Blooper Stack

A stack of Bloopers is formed when multiple Bloopers group up, forming a stack.

(A Blooper Stack is formed when Bloopers form a stack. By the way, what's a Pirate Goomba?)

("A Goomba that illegally downloads game ROMs on the web, of course!") - Shadic 34 (talk)

Blue Yoshi

Super Mario Run description

"Yoshi is Mario's loyal adventuring buddy. He is a 15 year old squeaker and raging homosexual in denial. He can Flutter Jump, and he's got no fear of spikes! Popular with Blue Toads."

Blue yoshi is playable in many of the yoshi games and some mario games. This includes Yoshi's crafted world and Mario kart 8 Best yoshi ever!

Bombshell Koopa

Bombshell Koopas are the most common enemy in the Super Mario Land, appearing in all levels except for 2-3 (the underwater level), and 4-3 (the flying level). Like red-shelled Koopa Troopas, Bombshell Koopas do not walk off edges, but merely pace back and forth on the platform.

(This was around for eight years before finally being fixed in 2019. -TheDarkStar (talk))

Bonecoaster

Trivia
 • The Bonecoaster is probably a dead snake (possibly even a dry snake).

Boo

[...] booes are scared of themselves when they look in a mirror.

("...Isn't the plural boos?")

[...]

There are two types of Boos in this game. One type stays visible and does not hurt Mario until transparency is achieved, at which they can harm the heroic plumber.

[...]

Trivia
 • The boos' ability to freeze when looked at and move when not is used by aliens called Weeping Angels in the British Sci-Fi show Doctor Who.

("Someone explain to me how being forced to freeze when looked at is an ability. --Ultimate Mr. L (talk)")

Booty Bird

They can be found in every world, in all kinds of areas, which shows that despite their weakness, they have an impressive adaptability.

Borboras

If it spots the player, it blows the player, yet it cannot hurt the player directly.

("Oh my god." - Binarystep (talk))

(" This is just full of overly complicated and silly speculation.". - WildWario (talk))

Brown Yoshi

Due to the absence of Brown Yoshis in recent games, and with the prevailance of Orange Yoshis instead, many consider Brown Yoshi and Orange Yoshi to be one and the same. Of course, it's also possible that Brown Yoshis are simply endangered.

[...]

It's appearances usually take place in the past and are almost never seen in the modern day, implying that they've become extinct or at least critically endangered.

("Habitat destruction and poaching finally got to them." LeftyGreenMario (talk))

Bully

Two Bullies appear in a screenshot on the Japanese website for Super Mario 3D World. In Super Mario 3D World, the Bullies have your paper of Super Mario 64 and are defeateds how in Super Mario 64 and with your voices of Super Mario 64.

("This appears to be a literal translation from Portuguese, or a similar language. The author likely intended to say "the Bullies had their role from SM64 and are defeated like in SM64 and with their voices from SM64"." - Flippy Bear (talk))

Burt

If defeated, these rotund ballerinas will yield two Stars or three Coins.

("Wow! I didn't know that Burt took ballet! What's next, Prince Froggy taking hip-hop?")

Their name and abilities might also be a reference Chernobyl, a famous nuclear meltdown in Ukraine which among other things emitted toxic gasses throughout parts of Europe

("That's no ordinary fart, a fart like that belongs to Wario!" - OhoJeeOnFire (talk))

Chomp Shark

Occasionally they are misattributed to the fictitious 'dog chomp', a false term created by the anti-shark Willuigi. This assertion is clearly wrong, and all edits to support Willuigi and his pro-dog propaganda should be swiftly deleted.

(Ah yes, Willuigi, Waluigi's evil twin brother. - Somethingone (talk))

Clambo

Clambos also appear in Donkey Kong Land. However, instead of shooting pearls, they are constantly opening and closing their spacey mantles, which makes them hard to avoid.

ComBat

ComBat are a distant relative to the Swooper, but VERY distant. They are much closer to the Catbat. ComBat live in the darkest reaches of Yoshi's Island, and nowhere else. As such, they may be found circling the Tall Tower, hunting in the Neuron Jungle, or stalking Bowser's Castle. They pose little threat to most residents, as they hunt small things such as Nomadimice. Nonetheless, ComBats will attack anything that gets too close, and are immune to most things other than eggs.

ComBat only appear in Yoshi's Story. Pictures of them are extremely rare, some of the rarest of the already rare Yoshi's Story official artwork. For those who wish to view one outside the game, it is best to buy the official guide to Yoshi's Story, which is full of the artwork.

Creeper

Trivia
 • Creepers may have been inspired by the actual Creepers in Minecraft.

("What makes this funny to me is that the name "Creeper" didn't even originate from Minecraft. Kingdom Hearts 2 for example, which came 5 years before Minecraft, has an enemy called a "Creeper" in it." Keyblade Master (talk))

Crow

While nobody understands what they say initially, they are actually very intelligent and often discuss complex issues, such as family matters, stocks, the environment, and even university applications, but they mostly do this when no one is around, and when in presence of other people, they mostly make "caw" sounds. Their intelligence is a reference to how actual crows are highly intelligent species in the animal kingdom, rivaling chimpanzees.

(While this describes their actual characterization in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it was in the lead paragraph of the article with absolutely no context given.)

As soon as he gets on it, the Dromedary starts to run very quickly and Mario gets flung away. Later in the comic, he meets the very same Dromedary again. Angrily, it kicks him away. The fact that Mario lands miles away from the animal suggests that it has supernatural powers.

Drool Hard

Drool Hards are relatives of Hanging Blow Hards but don't have the swing.

Dry Bones

Dry Bones (also known as Skeleton Koopas[citation needed])[...]

("What's funny is that the 'citation needed' was used in an FA summary." RickTommy (talk))

Trivia
 • According to the New Super Mario Bros. series, Dry Bones never walk off into pits or lava. This suggests that Dry Bones are no ordinary undead Koopa Troopas, they are undead Red Koopa Troopas, since these enemies never walk off cliffs or into pits, either. It may also be that these Koopa Troopas decided to be more careful for now on, after whatever decision they made before they died.

Eevee

Sadly, if no one is near Eevee, it won't do anything at all leaving it useless in large stages.

Emoglobin

 • Emoglobins may be emo, which their name confirms.

False Bowser

Though evil, he fights exactly like Bowser.

("Isn't Bowser already evil to begin with?")

Concept and creation

Goomba

No one ever knew but the goomba's where hiding a secret identity. You may know and love these mushrooms as goombas but they are really called Jimmy!!! Jimmy is a common name for a retard but if you have ever [played mario superstar baseball, jimmy runs super fast and is not that smart for wearing two shoes on one foot. So that is how he got the name jimmy. Now,you all must think that Jimmys live in the Mushroom Kingdom but that is so fake!!Jimmys are very poor and live in boxes on the streets on Mushroom Kingdom. They are drug-atics and they sell drugs in their boxes.Well, now i hope you know the real story of the goombas(Jimmy)

[...]

Goombas resemble mushrooms very closely. It is important that when playing Super Mario that a Goomba is not mistaken for a mushroom. Goombas are very hard to destroy, however, they appear to be small and weak looking.

("If Goombas are 'very hard to destroy,' I question what is very easy to destroy.")

Grindel

grindels are just mummified thwomps they are only in the shifting sandland course they try to smash mario whenever he goes beneath them they have made an appearence in mario party they are most powerful and cannot be destroyed!!

a realitive is the spindle they make strange grunts

SO BE CARFUL!!

Hyper Spiky Goomba

A Hyper Spiky Goomba is a Hyper Goomba with a spike on its head. It has extremely powerful attacks, and it itself is not easy to take down, either, with that nasty spike on its head. Ordinarily, their attack power is three, but when Charged, watch out for an incredible nine attack point attack. Mario needs to really stay on his toes with this Goomba.

Ice Cherbil

An Ice Cherbil is a semi-common enemy from Super Paper Mario, found in various locations such as the Yold Desert, the Overthere Stair or the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. These blue counterparts of Cherbils blow icy clouds at the four heroes, which can freeze them in a block of solid ice. Shaking the Wii Remote repeatedly is the only way to break the icicle. Ice Cherbils are also immune to ice attacks, as their name implies, although they can still be frozen.

(It's immune to ice, but it's not immune to ice? What? -TheDarkStar)

K-9

Curiously, instead of running away from the invincible Mario, the K-9s will foolishly continue to home in on Mario, running right into him and being instantly destroyed.

Klepto

(On March 30, 2008, the content on the Klepto page was replaced with a cut & paste of the Wikipedia article about Infocom, a well-known publisher of interactive fiction games. The vandalism was reverted nine hours after it was made, but the vandal soon struck back and replaced the content with that of another Wikipedia page, this time the article about the Star Wars character Jango Fett (a reference to Klepto's Japanese name). Because of the sheer length as well as the amount of broken coding involved, those revisions aren't directly archived on BJAODN. Later, the same vandal struck again and replaced everything with the words "ing what was that for for dead", which was reverted 2 minutes later.)

Kritter

Not all Kremlings are bad, though; some, such as K. Lumsy and the Kritter goalies of Mario Smash Football seem to be decent individuals

("See, you say that, but how do we know the league isn't extremely lax about the criminal records of their players?" --Lord Grammaticus)

("So why are the Kritter goalies being considered decent individuals? Because they play soccer? Does that mean Wario and the Hammer Bros are decent individuals too? How about characters from later entries, such as Petey Piranha and Boom Boom? Are they decent individuals as well?" -Arend (talk))

Koindozer

Trivia
 • Without their helmet and shield, Koindozers resemble Barney the Purple Dinosaur.

(Well, this statement isn't relevant, but it's not far off...)

Koopa Kid

Additionally, a certain Koopa Kid shopkeeper ran an unethical Item Shop in the Bowser Land, where players were forced into buying random items.

("The Item Shop, from further investigation, is heavily involved in the Black Market," - LeftyGreenMario (talk))

Koopa Troopa

Biology

The Koopa Troopas' most known caracterist is their shells, that resmbles turtles' shells (this fact has formed a rumor that Koopa Troopas are turtles). Another famous caracterist is their shell's protection that can be knocked, attacking other enemies (as seen in many platform games).

Physical Appearance

Koopa Troopas' shells comes in four colors: green, red, yellow and blue. The most known are the green and red ones, specially, the green ones.

All Koopa Troopas have a gold-yellow skin and a big snout. They also have light brown joints at their chests and abdomen (as seen in Bowser), however, this part of their body are covered with their shells.

Koopa Troopas also use shoes of the same color of their shells.

Speech

In the course of the Mario franchise, Koopa Troopas are seen to have English as their native language. In the games that character's voices aren't shown speaking phrases, Koopa Troopas make owl-like sounds, having English just legenged. This can be because Koopa Troopas have their own language, that Mario (or other characters) can understand. In Paper Mario series, all Koopa Troopas knows only speak English. Also having Koopa Troopas partners speaking this same language, through speaking bubbles.

Gender

Koopa Troopas have their gender differences, being male or female. An exemple is a Mario Party 5 mini-game called Flower Shower. This mini-game presents the marriage of two Koopa Troopas (one using a bow tie [a common man garment] and other using a bow [a common woman garment]).

Reproduction

Are not known if the Koopa Troopas' reproduction is sexually or asexually, however, are known that they born from eggs, just like Yoshis.

Krash

Trivia
 • The Krashes in Donkey Kong 64 also strangely resemble the current design of a Kritter, even though the Kritters were not redesigned until DK: King of Swing, 6 years later.

Kroc

Trivia
 • Some one thinks Kroc is the 8th scariest thing in a Nintendo game. He also thinks Kroc uses King K Rool's vocals.

Kuff 'n' Klout

Kuff 'n' Klout (also known as the Kremling Twins[1]) are extra-big, beefed-up Kremlings in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble.

Kutlass

It should also be noted that all male Miis are right-handed batters, while the female Miis are left-handed batters in this game. Both genders are right-handed fielders though. For some reason, they don't speak in the game. (probably due to the fact they are not alive, but animated dolls)

Mr. I

Mr. I reappears in Mario Party Superstars, retaining its design from Mario Party 8. Just like in Mario Party 2, it appears on Horror Land and will warp the player to the other side of the board. They also run the losers out except for the winner after a game on Horror Land has ended.

(Breaking news: Winners are not losers.)

Ninji

Paper Mario: Sticker Star

If they are jumped on/hammered at the wrong time, they will poof and leave a log (also known as a decoy) behind, meaning the attack will be a miss, then run back into battle while falling from the top screen having their arms up high and landing safely with style.

("It's not falling, it's landing with style." - Binarystep (talk))

Noki

Blue (Grande Homem) Noki is the most famous of all the Nokis for his clutch play against the Bowser Blue Shells in the Mario Baseball League World Series. Unbelievable stats in the series mixed with his clutch performances at the plate against the Blue Shell's captain and ace, Keith Bowser, led him to being awarded with the series MVP award. It was later discovered that Noki had a one night stand with Kate Upton after the heroic performance. This loss sent Bowser down a spiralling path that he still has yet to recover from and the last the media had ever heard from him was "Blue is a great athlete and a great guy, but there is no way that guy wasn't juicing".

Pharaoh Guy

Yoshi can reproduce them to yarn balls normally.

Pianta

Occasionally, Piantas have been known to have same-sex relations with each other, which could point out Nintendo's stance on the controversial topic that is homosexuality.

Piranha Plant

Trivia
 • In Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, the chomping noises the Piranha Plants make is Petey Piranha's voice sped up. They also make the same sound as Petey Piranha gets hit by an item or falls down the kart when they get hit by an item.

Toads dont appear in New Super Mario Bros., in the intro, the small things panicking aren't toads, they are toadsworths. Nintendo probably didnt want to make a new model just for toad, and used toadsworth's model instead. Toadsworth also appear in mushroom houses.

(While the information is technically correct, the way this is worded, unsourced, and taken out of context makes this sound like completely nonsense. -Baby Luigi (talk))

Althought the Toads are occasionally depicted as happy in some artworks, there are differences: Toadette rarely winks usually. Toads are never seen winking like this.

("So, uh, how often, exactly?" Doc von Schmeltwick (talk)

(Later, it would be re-added as this:)

Although the Toads are depicted a being happy in some artworks, there are differences. Toadette flirtatiously winks when depicted in several artworks, which is not present in any games the Toads appeared.

Torpedo Ted

The Torpedo Ted was launched from offscreen, therefore, it's launcher was never shown....i hate my life

("Later that evening, the Torpedo Ted decided to cut himself." - Stooben Rooben (talk))

[...]

Torpedo Teds have very smiling grins on their faces, which means that their arms are more farther away from the face.

("Guess they got over their depression.")

Super Mario World
Sprite of a Torpedo Ted being released from a torpedo tube in Super Mario World

Torpedo Teds first appeared in Super Mario World and resided in Soda Lake. Mario and Yoshi encountered Torpedo Teds during their adventures in Dinosaur Land. Torpedo Teds moved fairly fast and could be hard to avoid due to the narrow pathways within Soda Lake. This enemy can be defeated with a star, because this sprite was not progammed for invincibility glitch because: They give many lives when "bounce" in the player. But this star may be in code or by the level editor.

("You can see the editor's neurons progressively dying as the sentence continues.")

Yux (species)

 • When a Mini-Yux is in the presence of its greater being, an unbreakable shield will be created around the main Yux unit; the only way to abolish this shield is to destroy all of Mini-Yux in the way.
 • Mini-Yux are a variety of Yux that have been created to serve and protect their greater being.
 • Mini-Z-Yux are small, cone shaped offspring of the Z-Yux. The Mini-Z-Yux have an identical mission to that of a regular Yux: They must shield the Z-Yux from harm as it attacks opponents.
