The Red Fire is Mario's kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. It is a default middleweight kart when the game is started. Like Mario, this kart shows all average stats of the plumber. The kart appears with red and blue paint job, having Mario's trademark letter M on the top of the kart and wheels.
The Red Fire is well balanced with no major flaws. However, when compared to the Waluigi Racer (a kart with similar stats), the Red Fire is thinner, less tough (the Red Fire's weight is tied with the Heart Coach and Barrel Train), and less vulnerable to shells and other items.
In Mario Party 8 there is a car painted on the finish line in the Moped Mayhem game. This car looks very similar to the Red Fire. The car is even red and blue.
