Coin Collection is one of four randomly selected minigames after the player completes a world in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. In this minigame, the player must press up on the Dance Pad to make Mario or Luigi jump to collect all the coins he can while riding on a cloud. The player also needs to press down on the Dance Pad so Mario or Luigi can crouch to avoid getting hit by the Spinies floating in the air, or he will get knocked away from the clouds with a Lakitu carrying him back.
